September 2017 AAPK Knife Giveaway

This month Bruce (Old Hunter) is donating a beautiful Canal Street knife! 8)

Thanks for your generosity ::tu:: ::handshake::

Here's what you are for:

A Canal Street 2-blade doctors knife. Jigged bone handles, made in 2005.

Instructions for entering the giveaway...


Simply click here and select a number between 0 and 1000.

You will have until the end of the day on September 29 (11:59 P.M. Eastern) to pick a number after this time an official "Final List" of the entrants will be posted in this thread. The winner will be determined by the Illinois State Lottery evening pick three drawing on September 30. The Individual closest to the selected number without going over will win. The Illinois lottery results can be found on the following website:

You must be 18 years of age or older to play. The winner will be sent a PM after the drawing and will have 10 days to respond with your name and address, if you do not respond within the allotted time the knife will be given to the next closest winner on the list without going over.

You are certainly welcome gents - I get more out of AAPK than I give. September 18th is my six year anniversary on AAPK and coincidently my Grandmother Baker's birthday if she were still alive - she got me started as a Buck Knife fan with the gift of this Buck 301 when I was a senior in high school (early 1973). Anyway, lots of good memories tied to AAPK, Buck Knives, and September - hope a real knife nut wins the Canal Street (guess that could pretty much anyone of you!) OH

I guess you do.

Me too. Docs were the first Pattern I collected. I prefer the two blade versions with a spear main and spatula secondary blade. That's not all I have but that's what I prefer.
