Queen City #10

The Queen Cutlery Company manufactured knives in Titusville Pennsylvania for 96 years. The company opened its only factory there in 1919 and commenced to make some of the best US crafted cutlery you will find. Unfortunately, the Titusville manufacturing plant closed down in 2018.

Queen City #10

Latest find in the $10 bargain bin. Yes, I cleaned and polished it. I like my knives (and my trucks) shiny. Black composition (plastic) handles. Based on the tang stamp, it was made sometime between 1922 - 1945. Pocket ready.

Hi hardman.
I've got one of those, I think. Mine isn't stamped. It's 3 3/4".
How do you know what model number it is?
Nice looking knife, yours.

We know the model number by pattern, size and blade type.
The Queen Model #10 is a swelled end jack, 3 11/16" in size with a clip main and a pen secondary.
Queen also made their #18 pattern which is the same knife with a spear main.
Most of these knives were not stamped with a model number except for the years 1961-71 when Queen etched Queen Steel #10 on the main blade.
During these years, Queen did not stamp the tangs.

Good one, Dimitri. ::tu::

Mine is a very strong, well built knife. No doubt the other two are also.
