Salesman samples
Salesman samples
I bought these two R6723 salesman samples from Roger, (peanut). Both have different style crest shields, one has $10.00 on the back of the clip blade the othe has 20.00 fox on the clip. Both knives having 1933-35 stamps. I assume one is a price for a half dozen and the other is a price for a full dozen. If you have anything to add I'd love to hear. Enjoy Keith

I don't know the answer to the question, but I won't let that stop me from commenting on how gorgeous those knives are!
Re: Salesman samples

Re: Salesman samples
Keith you have collected another stunning set of knives. Great addition to your collection!
As far as the pricing, the Remington cutlery June 5th 1936 Jobber's price list has the pattern R6723 stated cost as follows:
1. Jobbers' cost per dozen- $7.50
2. Trade price per dozen- $10.00
Going back a little to your " F " pattern the same Remington Jobbers' cutlery listing has your F1632 as a "Scraper" with the following cost:
1. Jobbers' cost per dozen $3.60
2. Trade price per dozen $4.80
Again great job on your collection!

Re: Salesman samples
Keith I know you will find a way to add it to your collection. They are hard to find and not often available for purchase. Best of luck I know you have the ability to, "Get 'er Done"!

Re: Salesman samples
I would say since the 30's. Just a tick of shrinkage on the back handle next to one bolster. Other than that seems great.
