Cattle knives

Post by djknife13 »

Here are 3 of my favorites; The large one is a 4 &1/4 inch IXL in awesome stag and big swedges on all three blades and coined liners, The second is a LF&C with 4 blades and a etched Master blade. The third is a Schrade Cut co Walden NY___Dave

Nice trio.
I've always liked cattle knives. I'm a big fan of the equal end pattern.

Dave, those are outstanding examples of one of my favorite patterns. Your post deserves a place in the "cattle knives" thread in the Knife Lore subforum. ::tu::

Outstanding examples Dave. Cattle knives are my favorite pattern, tied with serpentine stockmans.

Bruce some knives have liners that have been milled to exhibit an edge similar to the edge on some coins such as a quarter.

Cool, now I get to look at all of my knives again. I think I've got one in there. Thanks Philco
