Ok Guys heres the rest of the pics on my new whittler ---
the canadian patent and number on the leather punch is another example how the Premier Liftime knives are a Canadian based knife. Much higher quality.

You're right Charlie,nice knife,Sheffield made.I hope you got it Josh.The seller used to post on here and sell on eBay as rattlesnake(some # ).

He sold a very nice Valley Forge farmers jack ,while my wife was in the hospital,that I would have paid considerable more than it sold for on eBay.

Great lookin' knives guys. I came across this one this weekend and was surprised when I opened it up. ELK Premier ELK. If you look at the close up tang shot you can barely make out a letter...I'm thinking this is a Japan knife? What say you JB? cheers

NICE SNAG! 8) ::tu::

yep...im THINKIN ,JAPAN............
but they did sneak a few out of CHINA & SPAIN......... ::nod::
these are from whoever bought the NAME in like the 70s' or 80s'
( i have NOT figured out who that is yet,or what year?)

i THINK its a import/exporter from england............ still iffy on ALL that info.
the ones they put out are all from spain,japan,china and have ETCH instead of tang stamp,also on these
the etch will be on the blade too w/ PREMIER logo and a model #.

I found another Premier. I didn't know what it was at first because it was really dirty and rusty, but she cleaned up ok and this old girl is definitely a Premier Lifetime pen made is Sheffield, a hair over 3" closed. I'm pretty sure the handles are horn. Well used and loved for sure...cheers
