Kershaw Brand Specific Site

Kershaw began its foray into the knife business sometime during 1974. The company was originally based in Portland Oregon, but most early knives were manufactured in Japan. The first US manufacturing plant was opened in 1997 & the company currently offers knives made in the U.S., Japan, & China. Pete Kershaw (an ex Gerber salesman) started the business.

I would like to have a Kershaw Brand Site to show our knives and history.
Any other Kershaw Collectors?

You are correct sir and I have more than one. I guess you could say that's why I have more than one.

I probably have 40-50 Kershaw knives, not really a collection when compared to my Schrades or Camillus', but a few more than my users too.

I will send Bryan a request for a Kershaw forum! ::tu::

And the neatest thing is, Bryan (or somebody) moved all the threads with Kershaw in the subject line to the new Kershaw forum. Super cool.

You are most welcome!
I just moved the ones with Kershaw in the title and I didn't move ones from the Advertising, Knife Trading, Knife Auction, and customizing forums.
It only took about 1-1/2 hours.........now it is my nap time!

Puma is a great guess, the vintage Puma carving sets are similar to the Kershaw branded stuff, and Puma made nice lockbacks.

Kai has put most of the old Kershaw catalogs online for us, here is a link.

I never saw any indication of what company was the sub, but I'll ask someone next time I have a chance...
