Case Tested XX Switchblade

Post by coalminer.606 »

Could any one tell me what they think of this knife? I didn't know Case made a switchblade in the Tested era.

I found that knife on page 203 of Sargent's 7th edition. It was made in stag and green bone. Valued at $4000, mint.
Nice one!! 8)

It's a 6161L in green bone - and that one is in great shape! If it's not already yours, get it!

Here it is next to the larger 5171L in stag.

The guy that has it said he couldn't take less than $1500.00 for it. I didn't know if it was worth that much or not.

Be careful Randy.

Looking at the front pin, it may have been apart or worked on.

If it hasn't, I think that's a good price.

SK,
Isn't that one of the 'bug-eye' pins?

Thanks guy's for the info that is what I'm afraid of that this knife has been took apart and reworked or something that is alot of money to pay for a knife that has been worked on. The guy that has it said it has been stored open and the spring is still strong in it. I might try to buy it if I can talk my wife into it. ::nod:: LOL.

Coalminer The same guy has it posted on the Case forum. I think the knife is 100% legit and don't think it has been apart.
