I'm gonna be in pictures!!! Or my knife will be...
I'm gonna be in pictures!!! Or at least one of my knives will be.
I sold a 1950's Camillus bone handled jack on eBay. Got an email form the buyer - said he is the "prop master" for a TV series filming in the British Isles. He wanted a preiod-correct jack knife for filming scenes where a boy would be whittling, for as show set in the mid 1950's.
I suggested also a WM RODGERS Sheffield single-blade jack and he bought that one as well, saying that the film would want several options.
Wish I had asked him the name of the show, but maybe we shall eventually see....

That’s awesome! I hope you get to see the film or at least the clip with your knife in it.
If so, let us see it too.

Cool stuff, good for you!

I often look at what knives and cameras an actor would use in a period film. I also
sometimes look at what goofs were made in a film production. You would be
surprised how alert and specific people can be when finding errors in film
scenes.

I saw an episode of a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation TV series Murdoch Mysteries, which is set in the early 1900s -1903 or thereabouts - where one of the characters deployed a Buck 110!
They missed this one!
