Nice collection! I didn't see a
Frontier version by Imperial. The
Frontier line was discontinued after Albert Baer bought all the remaining stock in Imperial Knife company.
They made four versions that were direct competitors with the 8OT. The line was created to compete against the Old Timer brand.
That's why Albert discontinued them as soon as he had full control of the company. Some of the
frontier knives were actually made in the
Camillus factory and some work believe it or not, made in the Schrade factory.
If you don't have these four knives, you may want to look for them because they are the same frame as the 8OT. I've even interchanged back springs between these knives and 80T.
Fronter- Pwdhrn Stg 4431 Premium Stock, 4" w/clip, spey & sheepfoot blades
Fronter- Ol' Ivory 4432 Premium Stock, 4" w/clip, spey & sheepfoot blades
Fronter-Sundowner 4433 Premium Stock, 4" w/clip, spey & sheepfoot blades
Fronter-Gnpwd Blk 4434 Premium Stock, 4" w/clip, spey & sheepfoot blades
Impressive collection!

Oh yes, I'm familiar with all those.
But this collection is Schrade-made stockmans.

Nice 8OT collection. They are a very nice knife
to hold and use ( and therefore collect).

I think the SC505 Schrade (scrimshaw) series is the same as the 8OT Schrade.
Those are also good knives. I have 2 of them.

I can certainly understand the attraction. The 8OT is one of my favorite EDCs.

That original post collection is great!

I was just thinking about this this morning and have a couple thoughts. First of all, they are 3 15/16 inches, not four inches, not that it matters except the devil is in the details. Secondly, not all "Schrade made" were made by Schrade.
Camillus made "four inch" stockmans for Schrade and they have Schrade tang stamps. The one I am thinking of right now is the 8OT, and it does not have Swinden construction. Another one is the 61OT, but the OP stipulated 8OT frame size. That 8OT frame size was also made by Imperial with Parker connections, such as the Bison, and the five celebrating revolutionary war heroes, in five colors of Delrin. There were at least 3 more colors of Delrin on 8OT frame "Schrade" knives, the blue FFA being a different blue, and a different red and an orange, etc., etc. The handles or covers in bone came in at least eight patterns. The shields? I can think of several including one that is so rare that only a couple of us know about it. How about all the Craftsmans and three other hardware companies that sold 8OT frame Schrades. Now there are the sfos in smaller runs for smaller companies. and jillions of different "scrimshaws." You could not touch the totals unless you are thinking of at least 5000 variations. Now we haven't touched the Uncle Henrys or the 1904-1946 Schrade CutCos. They have the same frame and they are all Schrades. What fun!!!
