As I was browsing through Ebay I found this auction and was wondering who in the world is
Paul A.
Henckels. It looks legit but something about this gives me
a weird feeling...Probably nothing to worry about.

I'm doing a bit of research on this one. The spelling is a curiosity, based on sveral sources. I'll let you know if I get an answer from Bernard Levine...as his book is one of the sources.

Bernard Levine replied back that the Henkels spelling in his book, should be Paul A. Henckels, in business in Solingen, Germany from 1887 or 1888 until the present. Just not as well known as J.A. Henckels.
This one seems to be legit.

Thanks Bill,
That's what I call answer on demand....So Paul Henckels has his own shop as well since the late 1880's. Talk about living in someones shadow as far as the Henckel name is concerned. This could get confusing trying to research this type of thing, especially with the same last names and long time shops from the same area.
Your effort is very much appreciated,
