All About Pocket Knives

The sets were advertised in the knife magazines back in the 1970's and 80's and as I recall very expensive for the time.Not sure how many were actually made but they do come up for sale occasionally. You might check e-bay to see if any have been sold there and what the going prices were.
The three daggers(I think they are Case)look like the ones commissioned by the American Commemorative Institute as a tribute to each branch of the armed services in Vietnam. There were supposed to be four of them but only one(for the Marines)was aver produced to my knowledge. I have one of them with a silver plated pewter handle.If those are for the other three branches of service they might possibly be prototypes. Could you post some closeups of the handle detail on both sides? Here is a pic of the one I have and the original ad from one of the knife magazines.
