Here are four recent adds. Are all very good or better. The assisted open Fairbairn Applegate fires as fast as an Automatic and even has a nice lock. The one made in Taiwan is actually a nice looking knife. They are all to new for me so they will be in my store as a lot sale.

Hi, All:
Well, I think I've covered all of my options on finding a Sheath for my Gerber Clip Lock, Boot knife. To top it all off, my computer has locked out the use of Google, to search with. I am going to try to impose on a member, to send me the pictures of the back of their Blackie Collins designed Gerber, Clip Lock, Boot Knife, as I'll just have to build a sheath. Check Six on this forum has one, maybe I can get him, or some other considerate member, to send, me pictures of the back of their's? Thanks.

Here is a 450 and Sheath I have had for years. I thought a blade such as this needed a better background than my old chamois so Here it is laying on a Zebra leather taken in the late 1890's .

I few of my Gerber Silver knights, the large one (3 3/4 closed) has been posted before I replaced the handle with inner mammoth Ivory. The small one (3 1/4 closed) is a WIP using Mammoth Tooth. I still have a lot of fine sanding to do. truthfully I'm not as happy with the work I did on this one but then again it was my first time working with Mammoth Tooth.

Hi, All:
I am a fairly new member to the AAPK knife forum, and joined, thinking that I would get some badly needed information, about a neat little boot knife, that I bought without doing my homework. I bought it without the sheath, which is an intricate part of the system. Well after trying every source I could find, to buy one I decided to design and build one. I started this project in early July, and just finished today. I made the front , and back panels of lightweight tempered aluminum, the center spacer of Lucite, and the nylon adjustable boot clip from a cellphone holster. I was trying for lightweight, and strength. My arthritis, failing eyesight, memory loss, loss of strength, and old age, at 86 yrs. all contributed to the length of time that I spent making this sheath. But, as they say, "Here she is". Thanks for sharing, a subject that will only interest a very few.

Wow, excellent work, ST! I recall when you first got the knife without realizing the sheath was so integral.
Well done!

Here's a couple of 47 MIMINGS I finished cleaning up a week or so ago. I had the 50s box and thought they'd go good together.

Got these two from a feller that's "Legendary" himself.
To you sir I say spectacular!!!
Still haven't decided about the Shorty, I'm leaning towards keeping it like it is. It'll be the only Gerber I have that has factory finish.
This is the new #1. Sexy

These are by no means my 'latest' acquisition so I am in the correct thread.
I always carry a large and small knife, the small knife is used for fingernails while the larger is for everything that needs cut. The small oval knife holds a good edge but does not feel like a Gerber should.
This is one of the early ATS34 factory folders, Gerber even stamped it on the blade.

Nice early EZ OUT. Don't come across the ATS34 very often. Keep er sharp, it'll take forever to get the edge back.
Didn't figure anybody but me would have an Amulet!
Haven't used mine, keep it with the other Gerber keychain Goodies.
It's good to see somebody EDC Gerber Goodies.
Thanks for letting me know I'm not the only one.
The work rig, plus a LST in my pocket.

One of my favorite Gerber EDCs is a beat up FS II that I replaced the missing wooden handles with ivory. The ivory wasnt the greatest but it sure makes a nice EDC!
Here is a new one I just got recently, a DMF, manual not auto.
WHAT A BEAST!

Those E-Z Outs are real sleepers! There are inexpensive and they cut like nobody's business! I have one that is fully serrated that's one of the sharpest knives I own. I bought it but closed out at Lowe's I think for about $15. Crazy sharp!
I have another E-Z Out that is SV30 and it just won't quit cutting!
Crazy sharp knives for very little money!

Mr. Dale,
I meant no disrespect. You're the one that signed me into AAPK because I like Gerber Goodies!!! You know I'm diehard Gerber. New, old, it don't matter!!! I've got other knives, but only carry the best!!
Haven't got onea them pigstkcker (DMF) yet, but it's a good looking knife. Makes me tired just looking at it
Makes me want one, nice and beat up. I could have some serious fun.
I've been getting a few Walmart specials lately, Ozark Trails (Carolina Knife and Tool). I don't exactly know where it falls, it's got FAST opening and a button on the back(like a flipper but a totally separate piece) and it opens better than my 06 FAST.
I'm doing a little MUDification to it. I'll definitely post it sooner than later. Here's the one I did for my son.
Almost with the $6 it cost. It sure is quick outta the hole.

Here's the second $6 Walmart knife.
The first one is at Ft.Bragg with my son. I did that one for me but... You can never have too much backup!!!! Plus he's my boy, he's gonna get it anyway one day.
Now wipe ur nose n eyes!!!!! And a few explicatives plus a few if you don't know what I mean!!!!
I wanted to see if I could do a little engine turning. Maybe not the best thing to engine turn but it's a $6 semiauto.
But it is F.A.S.T.

An Al Mar designed Magnum. Don't recall when I bought it .believe I was late 70's early 80's. Chunky knife..heavy for it's size...razor sharp out of the box and still is.
Well from reading some historical info it looks like This is from the late eighties not seventies...Senior moment...looks like that last brain cell is getting flaky...
