Click on the drop down arrow next to the little wrench to the right of the "Post Reply" button and select "Unsubscribe".kootenay joe wrote:How do i un-suscribe from a thread ?

Re: Subscribe/Unsubscribe to a Forum
Thanks. I have already tried this a few times but when i click on "my posts" this thread still shows up. I only posted in it once about 2 years ago and it is an active thread with posts every day so it continually shows up in "my posts" even after
un-subscribing'.

Re: Subscribe/Unsubscribe to a Forum
Just to be clear: i went to this thread, used the arrow & drop down menu says "you are now un-subscribed from this thread" or something similar.
Then i go to "Quick Links": "Your Posts" and the unsubscribed thread is still there. Maybe it takes time to work it's way down and now will not appear again ?

Roland when you say it shows up in "my posts" are you referring to the category in the quick links titled "your posts"? If so any thread that you have ever posted in will always show up there.kootenay joe wrote:Thanks. I have already tried this a few times but when i click on "my posts" this thread still shows up. Re: Subscribe/Unsubscribe to a Forum
I think when you subscribe to a thread you receive a notification up there next to the bell just as you do when someone quotes you. Yes I have 64 pages of threads under "your posts". I don't guess those ever go away.kootenay joe wrote:Well, what does "subscribe" refer to ? Because yes i said "my posts" but actually it is "your posts".

Re: Subscribe/Unsubscribe to a Forum
Greg, thanks for your help.
" I don't guess those ever go away"
It would be helpful if threads you are no longer interested in could be removed.
In "General Off Topic Discussion" there is a thread that is like a chat room, bunch of guys post what's up for them on that day; i.e. they post every day. Way back when i joined i posted in the thread once or twice, so that was over 2 years ago, but then decided not to partake as i was already spending too much time on my butt looking at a computer screen (AAPK 90% of time).
So every day since then when i click on "Your Posts", this thread is near the top.
I am surprised there is not a way to stop it from showing up.
