Putting an item on "Hold" for a customer!
I am sure I am overlooking it, but....... is there a way to put an item on hold or inactive??? I have had customers ask me to hold a knife for them until a certain date so they can buy it then. I can't seem to figure out how to do that other than deleting it or pricing it way too high.

Change the number in stock from 1 to 0 . That should do it

We don't really have a great way to do this, but as Randy stated, you can prevent someone from buying an item by changing the inventory to 0...
When your buyer is ready, you would need to change inventory back to 1 or more to allow for them to complete the checkout here at AAPK... or you could PayPal invoice them if you accept PayPal.

spots and then say if his name is Don in Ohio,,,
I put THANKS DON IN OHIO !!!
If you look in my store you can see a example under the Museum Knives

Thanks for the replies! I like the 0 quantity strategy.
