UK Pen Knife

Post by cody6268 »

Locally, there's still a UKPK 3 in GIN-1 steel with blue handles languishing on the Spyderco shelf of the local knife store for $35, cheaper than many Spydercos of that size, especially USA made ones. I like it as a roughly 3" blade is the sweet spot for blade size for me, and secondly, it doesn't lock. Only locks I like are ones I can close without bracing them against my leg.

For those that have owned and used this knife--what are your thoughts?

I like the UKPK. It's something different from their standard locking knives.

Currently I have the Blue FRN with GIN-1 steel and I've been thinking about picking up the Dark Blue FRN with S110v blade steel.
