Re: SHARE YOUR BENCHMADES
This arrived today. Only my second BENCHMADE. It's in EXCELLENT condition.
It will join my EDC rotation. The last two pictures show it paired up with my
first BENCHMADE, which has been an EDC since the early 1990's (and looks it).

Could you give some information on the knife in the second picture?

Very nice, I love the look of that Abalone, a custom job.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

This was a BladeHQ exclusive I picked up around Christmas. Another light and sharp one, CPM-M4 and Jade G10.

Re: SHARE YOUR BENCHMADES
I received this Benchmade 417 Fact auto today to go along with the manual version. 8 3/4" oal/CPM-S90V spear-point blade, aluminum bolsters, and carbon fiber covers. Fires fast n' hard, and locks-up tight. The last pic is of both models.

Nice one, Mark! I've often wondered, where is the firing button on the Axis Lock Autos? It's probably something very obvious but it escapes me.Madmarco wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 8:40 pm I received this Benchmade 417 Fact auto today to go along with the manual version. 8 3/4" oal/CPM-S90V spear-point blade, aluminum bolsters, and carbon fiber covers. Re: SHARE YOUR BENCHMADES
Thanks Rick! On the manual model the axis-lock simply unlocks the blade so it can be "flicked", pinched n' pulled, or opened with the stud, and must also be deployed when you wish to close the blade. On the automatic model when you pull down on the axis-lock the blade fires open automatically, but must also be used to unlock the blade before folding it closed. Also on the auto there's a spine-mounted manual safety that when deployed makes it impossible to pull down the axis-lock to fire the blade, although, once the blade is deployed the manual safety is ineffective. Hope that explains it!Railsplitter wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 8:53 pmNice one, Mark! I've often wondered, where is the firing button on the Axis Lock Autos?
