I just received this Robeson 10" fixed blade with sheath in excellent condition. Blade etch is still clearly visible, with nothing on the pile side. Sheath appears to be nearly identical to a Schrade Walden sheath from the late 1950s. Does anyone know the mfg. dates for this knife, or where to point me to find the information? Thanks in advance!

Actually, during that time-frame, I suspect Robeson was making the Kinfolks knives.
After Emerson Case left Kinfolks for Robeson in circa 1940, he subsequently bought Kinfolks.
And that tungsten carbide edge coating was patented by Robeson.
Dates are roughly 1948 - 1960.

Found the pearl handled Robeson letter opener down in Florida. Tang stamp is ROBESON SHUREDGE U.S.A. And numbers 722 376 on the back. Needs a little cleaning.

Nice, but I think you have mistakenly posted it in the wrong thread.
