Robeson Tiny Barlow!

The first Robeson knives were imported by Millard Robeson from England and Germany exclusively. This continued from 1979 until 1896 when Robeson began manufacturing knives in the United States. Since inception, the company has gone through several reorganizations & eventually ended up as a Queen Cutlery brand.

Robeson Tiny Barlow!

Post by TwoFlowersLuggage »

I just received this Robeson #722236 2.5" MoP Barlow - I love it! The tang is so small it just says "R.C." / "Co." - and that barely fits. The little guy walks & talks like a good Robeson. I didn't pay very much for it - unless you price it by the inch!

Charlie: Any idea what year range this comes from?

Edit: Silly me - I should have checked the AAPK research page on Robeson tang stamps. It says 1900-1939. Cool!

That is a nice little knife.

I have one of those and several of Robesons other small pearls.
You're right, all of them are sound and serious Robeson knives.

Nice little knife.

Robeson made that pattern with a long bolster, like yours and also a short bolster.

Technically, the long bolstered ones can correctly be called a "Barlow", as you have just done.

Robeson's tiny little pearl handled knives are some of my favorites.
