Strawberry bone 622331 peanut
The pictures do not do this knife justice. Beautiful strawberry bone. No box but as close to new as you can get I believe. Strong snap in both blades. Just a gorgeous knife. What say ye?

Fantastic color. Almost looks like bright red/white lava from a volcano.

Beautiful knife that has, apparently, not often seen the light of day.
The knife never came in an individual box, so you aren't missing anything.

I saw the subject of this topic and wanted to post my 622331. It, in no way, compares to the one that Ed has posted above, that one is a real beauty! I do find it interesting to note the variation in coloration of the bone. Thanks

Re: Strawberry bone 622331 peanut
Very, very nice little knife.
Some bone is more dense and takes up the dye differently and this bone will fade in sunlight, as will any other.
Here are two more, another in Strawberry Bone and one in pressure molded black composition.

Thank you for your comments Ed and Charlie.
Thank you also, for posting more pics, another beautiful strawberry! I am curious, were all the black handled knives in this pattern without shield?

Re: Strawberry bone 622331 peanut
Speaking only to post WWII knives, anecdotally, I'd say yes. But, I wouldn't be surprised to see one with a shield.
And to be honest, I'm not sure I've seen a pre WWII 331, although the number itself, suggests they existed.
