Over the years I have either seen or managed to obtain, several knives that in some manner advertise the company itself. Some have blade etches and some have advertising legends on the handles.
Here are photos of knives that I either own or have copied the pics from other sources.
If you have a Robeson or Terrier knife that has an advertising etch or handle that promotes The Robeson Cutlery Company, please add it to this thread.
These are in no particular order.
As to that last knife, I have no idea what was going on in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1905.

Beautiful knives as always Charlie .
The 'curved coffin jack' is most intriguing. I've never seen a pattern like that.

Re: Robeson Self-Advertising Pocketknives
That is a great looking group of knives there fellas.
I have a thought on this particular knife.
I used to work for a prototype company in Yonkers NY where we made the working models of everything you can think of from braziers to telephones.
I believe this knife may be the only one as it (may be) the prototype for the handle stamping process. Something to approve the font style, depth of the stamp, potential deformation that would need to be pressed back out, ect...
Just a thought.

Those are some fine looking knives Charlie, especially the last one with the green handle. That's only the second one I've ever seen.

Thanks, everyone.
The coffin shaped nickel-silver knife is not unique. I've seen more than one.
And, unfortunately, the green handled MasterCraft knife destroyed itself last year. So, however many there were, there is now one less.
