My wife just found this little knife (about 2 3/4 inches folded) when she was cleaning out a bathroom drawer. Neither of us remember it, it may have been here when we moved in in 1994. It's a japan made Kershaw, nice knife, It's going into my edc pile. What caught my attention is the name; Grant County. I was raised in a Grant county,Washington. It's the most common county name in the country, 15 or 16 of them. There was even a Navy ship named USS Grant County.
The question is; why the name? Did Kershaw name other knives after counties? There is also a Grant County in Oregon. I doubt It was named after the ship. The ship was de-commissioned in Jan. 1973, Kershaw didn't start until '74. Anybody know about them?
