Kershaw Leek

Kershaw began its foray into the knife business sometime during 1974. The company was originally based in Portland Oregon, but most early knives were manufactured in Japan. The first US manufacturing plant was opened in 1997 & the company currently offers knives made in the U.S., Japan, & China. Pete Kershaw (an ex Gerber salesman) started the business.

It took 18 days to go 120 miles straight south. Only God knows why it first went to Des Moines, IA and then St Louis, MO but it did and finally arrived at it's destination. Hope springs eternal.
Sounds like they must have sent it snail mail.

John, I feel your pain. My knife shipped on Dec. 18, landed in Palatine (60 miles away) on Dec. 22nd and hasn't moved since.
Bought one yesterday morning and it has landed............ In another thread someone told me that's code for Springfield, MA

Lucky you.

In addition to the one that's been stuck in Palatine (60 miles away) for two weeks, this one flew right over the top of me on it's way West from Philadelphia and landed in Kansas City. Say Whaaa. ::dang:: ::bad_day:: ::lightening::

I own knives from lots of different brands...Schrade, Benchmade, BRS, Gerber, etc..

IMHO, you get the most bang for the buck with Kershaw. Really great knives!
