I almost always have my Kershaw Blur in my right leg pocket.
It is #1670TBLBKDZ which is the stone wash tanto blade of BDZ-1 steel.
When it gets dull it still "Kershaw sharp." ::tu:: ::ds::

Hmm, looks like the deep-carry clip for the Leek would work perfectly for tip-up carry of that knife, too. ::hmm::

Dangit, Jerry. You are the worst influence. My momma told me 'bout fellers like you... ::disgust:: ::smirk::

Why yes there is a Kershaw in my pocket ::nod:: .
I got this leek a couple of weeks ago to replace one I had given to a friend. He did not carry a pocket knife ::uc:: and I thought that was just wrong.

Just picked up a nice brand spanking new Kershaw Camber. My first and only AO knife. I got it at a fairly good price from a Knife Store (Kutter's) in Ottawa. I like to think of it as a baby ZT.

Nice Kershaws, gentlemen. ::tu:: I've had this Kershaw Ken Onion Blur for about 9 years. I bought it for a pitbull a friend had that at last count had ripped into 27 different people. I gave fair warning to my buddy and his wife that if that dog bites me, I would be his last. I love the vintage knives but these spring assisted Kershaws are great in tight spots.

"They" don't, but I just happen to have one that I'm selling -- the all black part serrated 7000ST (the blue on black 7000BB has already been spoken for).

I realize that it's been almost a year since you posted that question, guarddogg, but if you're still interested, let me know.

Had the matte-bladed cousin to your Blur with me all week (and in regular duty over the last few months). For a big knife, it pretty much vanishes when clipped to a pocket. An aftermarket deep-carry clip makes tip-up position much easier around "the straights".

Still want a tanto version... ::disgust::

I have a new Kershaw EDC I really like, it's called Sapphire. It has obviously been used, I think this model came out in 2006.
Non-assisted but easy to flip open a thumbnail to the thumb stud. It has in AUS-8A steel in the blade. I wish I had found this knife before they became so hard to locate.

Just picked up this little Onion/Centofante model 1610 and it's now my new EDC. I was a bit surprised at the size...thought it would be slightly bigger. Compared to a 1660 (Leek) and a 1500, the 1610 is the runt of the litter. I love my Leek, but it's bigger & heavier and usually more knife than I need for most cutting tasks. The Micarta 1500 is sleek & smooth but slightly heavier and also just thick enough to be a noticeable presence in my pocket. But, the smaller 1610 is the perfect size for 99% of my cutting needs and comfortable, unobtrusive pocket(clip) carry...I totally forget it's there until I need it. (This sounds like an episode of Goldilocks and the Three Bears: "...Papa Bear's Leek was too heavy. Mama Bear's 1500 was too thick. But, when she put Baby Bear's Kershaw into her (apron) pocket, it was juuuuust right!")

Nice selection of Kershaws Q! ::tu::

I really like the blade shape on the Centofante; it’s like a really pointed Wharncliffe I just wish it were in a bigger frame like the Leek. I like your composite Leek too; I have been looking for one of those.
I really like D2 steel in an EDC and I can only imagine CPM D2 is better than regular D2.

Today I was carrying the 1410, the Titanium ATS 34. I got this one used and someone had really abused it but it’s actually a very nice knife.
I’m going to see if I can find one that is in better shape, but this one makes a dandy user.

A while back I bought 1510ST, (Random Task) that someone had removed all the screws from the handle and removed the standoffs as well. They also drilled more holes for mounting a clip for tip up & tip down, and then left the clip off entirely! ::dang::
I thought I might be able to find enough parts to put the knife back together but I don’t have the right size screws and standoffs. I was able to find one screw that will at least hold everything together, but I need to take it to Kershaw next week when I go to Portland and see if they can repair it, or at least give me the proper screws so that I can fix it. I am really anxious to try CPM 440V steel, and I’m not seen it in any other knife beside this one.

I bought this 1515, (Random Task II), in hopes that the screws and spacer from it would fit the 1510, but I don’t think that they will work, the spacing is wrong.
I was thinking about keeping it but I prefer and assisted opening with a flipper not just a thumb stud, especially when the action is as stiff as this one is. But of course it’s a brand-new knife and isn’t broken in yet.

These two today, a1436 with ATS-34 steel and G10 handle. One of the best and hardest-working Kershaw's I have owned!
Also my favorite Kershaw pattern the Wild Turkey 4150 which I customized with Amber Impala jigged bone. This one has become my favorite of all of my Wild Turkeys.

Dale, that custom Wild Turkey is sweeeeet! Beautiful work.

The WT 4150 is my favorite Kershaw pattern also. Seeing your Amber Impala is giving me wild and crazy ideas on what I might have to get you to do with my little Whiskey Gap. I definitely see something amber in its future...just have to find the right material. ::hmm::
