Can any give me some info on this knife?
Can any give me some info on this knife?
Can any give me some info on this knife? It is an Imperial (1946-1956?) It has a good quality feel to it with great walk and talk. I am not sure about the handle material. Any idea of what it might be worth?

Shell handled Imperials don't sell for much, but the steel is excellent and that's a great looking example.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

I agree. Celluloid wrapped shell construction.
Not usually worth much.
I personally wouldn't give over $10-15 for any shell handled knife.
Though this is a good looking knife.

Yes sir! The scales are el cheapo, and they aren’t real valuable. But it’s as good a steel as any maker of that era used and worlds above most of what’s turned out today imo.
It’ll make a fantastic user.

It's a great looking knife! Use or save, it's up to you. Carry it every once in a while to stay in touch with that 1960's vibe! They were great users.

It has a pretty good patina, but now I am thinking 'bout sticking it in a potato...

Go for it. Then sharpen that puppy up. You’ll be shocked how sharp it gets.

I really like the marbling pattern on the handles!
I have a bunch of Imperials because they are cheap. Mostly '70s era Barlows. They take a great edge easily, and if lost, most aren't exactly pricey to replace.
