New Colonial

Colonial Knife was incorporated in 1926 by three brothers; Antonio, Domenic, & Fredrick Paolantonio. It grew to become one of the largest pocket knife manufacturers in the US during the 1960s. The company shut down in 1998, but was back into production under the Colonial Cutlery International Corporation in 2001. Colonial Cutlery International, Inc. brand is the imported line of knives and tools while the U.S.A.- made products fall under the Colonial Knife brand.

New Colonial

No big woop but I was at a gunshow and saw some knives in a box. There was a Dole banana knife and then another, but new in a wax sleeve. $10 out the door :D

Great deal on a nice old knife! I like the "banana" colored handle material. I have several of the Colonial jacks and stockman knives.

Wow I thought it would be common at least years ago. Any idea of materials? Sorry picture isn't too clear. It actually is new and looks better live.

Sorry not taken off phone but I stopped and asked about pocket knives at a tag type sale. The guy mentions his one and only in a box and fetches out what looked to be a stag or bone with a blank shield. I can't read it, unglasses, but he says it looks like Colonial, does that make sense?. Yes its not expensive, so $2, I guess its jigged plastic, two blades, dirty but W+T is awesome and everything lines up with a tiny broken chip near a bolster but otherwise stocks are good. All washed, 0000 steel wooled and Bolistoled. Will prove story soon.
