Very cool group, Les. I've long admired the Bargeon knives but have not fired or even handled one, what's your opinion on the action of your copy? ::shrug:: Thx! 8)

Opens hard and fast. But for some reason does not always lock up, seems to hit stop and bounce thus missing the lock. I can play with how I hold and it will lock. Don't know anybody local that can look at it for me. Almost like to much spring. Other then that a neat little knife.

Thanks Les. I think that's referred to as "backlash", but I don't know how to correct it, although I do believe there is a way. Perhaps when someone familiar with that problem reads this they'll offer up some advise on how you'd fix it. It sure is a good looking knife with the all-metal body. 8)

You can tighten the pivot by tapping it with a small hammer and some sort of anvil supporting it.
Tap one side a little, try it. Turn it over and tap the other side, Try it.
Repeat until it tightens up enough to open properly.
