13" Stiletto

Post by prober996 »

I don't know who made this knife as there are no marks or branding on it. It's big.... 13" open.

with swedge on blade id say from late 1960's up to maybe late 70's . there was a period when they stopped putting swedge on blades i think that was in late 70's going into 80's as you dont see many 80's and 90's stilettos with swedge blades , they have standard blades but no swedge.

Most stiletto makers used nickel silver bolsters until the mid-1970s, then used steel bolsters.
Your knife has steel bolsters. Please understand that there is NO definite date for changes like this. These are general statements only.
