My Ganzo G-7582-BK arrived today.
My Ganzo G-7582-BK arrived today.
The Ganzo G-7582-BK came in its signature black box and bag. The knife is robust as most Ganzos generally are. The blade snaps out well with both alacrity and authority. G10 cakes grace the knife and give good purchase.
The blade was somewhat sharp out of the box and after 3 minutes on the Spyderco Tri-angle "Sharpmaker" it attained a "shaving sharp" edge. The fit and finish are typical Ganzo which, in a word, is excellent. The only downside seems to be the safety. My knife requires the safety slide-button be slid extremely hard to fully engage and lock the plunge firing button. Since the button is mounted fairly flush, requiring deliberate pressure to fire the piece I'm not overly concerned with the possibility of accidental firing.
On the whole, the knife is good and seems fit for carry rotation. At $18.92 delivered to my door from the Far East, it appears to be a keeper.

Safety on one of mine was like that too but it smoothed out. I think yours will too.

GANZO F7582-GREEN
GANGO F7582-ORANGE
I still need the BLACK like Captain O
I ordered them in late July 2017 and received them in mid August from FastTech. A little delayed because the GREEN was on backorder.
Very happy with them. $18.92 each and free shipping.

Thank you for posting those, kind sir. Mine looks identical except for the G10 scales on the handles. I prefer the G10 for its inherent safety and enhanced purchase it provides.
Again, thank you.

Thanks Folder !
I have a Ganzo F753M1 "Firebird", 4" closed, looks to have exactly the same blade and the same handle profile but in a manual thumb stud opening & axis lock. Is the 7582 also 4" ? If so then they are the same knife, one manual, the other auto.
Also have a G738, 4 3/4" with a drop point blade, manual & axis lock. It feels like a Big & Strong knife.
Both are flawless. I prefer the feel of the 4" Firebird.

On mine you can move the clip, tip up or tip down. I like tip down so I moved them, the knives pictured doesn't have the option, bummer.

KJ - there are three Ganzo knives with a "Protech-like" blade shape. The G7531 (axis lock) and F7582 (auto) are the same size. The F753M1 (axis lock) is smaller. I would LOVE to see an auto in the F753M1 size.
Here is my trio - 2 carbon fibers and 1 aluminum.

The F7582s are:
4-3/4" closed.
8-3/8" open.
They are BIG guys. Very snappy.

I adore this knife. For the money paid, it is a great carry knife. (It is in the rotation with my other larger Ganzo knives).
I am seriously eying that new Buck 110 Auto. This is another great knife to accompany my Buck 898 Impact. The "factory" Folding Hunter 110 Auto looks very good!

Captain, "axis lock" and "automatic" are mutually exclusive. Each does not need the other.
I found these two intriguing. Both are "axis lock"
Firebird F7551-GR - $17,67 GANZO Firebird F7562-GR-$16,35
