Swiss made auto

Post by montemojo »

Does anyone have any info on this well made knife. It was purchased in Switzerland. The knife has a v spring to activate instead of a coil spring

I have one of these as well. Very well made knife with rock solid lock up. At one time ,these were being marketed as Russian Police knives. They usually had steel or aluminum ,painted scales, in an army green color. They used to be fairly common. I think, I saw a few in the old Skelton catalogs. These are the first I've encountered, with micarta handles.

Thanks for the info armedwithuzi. Russian police knife, thats interesting I will relay this. As the knife belongs to a friend. I thought the knife was well made and tighter than most of the autos I have seen.
