WOW! Beautiful knife! Is it a Miller Brothers?(saw the screws in the handles).I remember when I first started getting serious about knife collecting(late 1960's)there was a guy in Chicago(can't remember his name)that used to send out a news letter periodically with knives he had for sale and one he offered was a double sided OTF spring-operated knife.Never saw a picture of it but it way out of my price range anyway(think he was asking $500 for it at the time).He also had an OTF spike cane that was spring operated.

I'm not sure who made the knife and thought it might be MB but am not sure, Goins just has the mark listed and a brief description and Levine's has nothing. I might send it to Bernard and see what he says about it. I saw one at the Mystic show years ago that was in better condition then mine and 2 weeks later this one shows up on ebay! Go figure

I finally did the search for the patent and found it, link below. When I looked at the results there was a knife below patented by a man with the same last name, J Pantalek. Funny but I have a knife that opens the same way as the one he patented. To unlock the handle so the blade can be swung out you need to pull one of the bolsters apart. I have had this knife for years and always thought it was made by a machinist but never knew the design was patented. Go figure.
