A quick DIY story for patriotic gun owners.

Post by TPK »

Here's a short story & DIY project someone besides me might like. ::shrug::

My wife likes to watch blog videos from some women in Denmark. Somehow the subject "Flags" came up. The lady from Denmark explained that in Denmark they don't normally hang flags up outside as much as is done in some other countries. But, they do place small flags on their tables very often. Just about any time they have family or other guests in their house you will find a flag or flags of Denmark on the dinner table. ::tu::

My wife told me the story about this form of traditon from Denmark just a couple of days ago. Tomarrow is my youngest daughter's birthday. She will turn 15 and we will have a few relatives & guests at our house tomarrow afternoon & evening. I liked the tradition from Denmark and I have some small flags but I didn't have any flag holders. ::hmm::

Of course a small bottle would work too but I felt being creative and this is what I could find around the house. A 223 REM shell case & a wood knot. Pictures explain the rest. ::tu::

Thanks for looking friends! ::handshake::

Very cool and creative use of that wood knot and the 223 Rem shell Tom! And I learned something about the Danish and their use of flags. ::tu::
