Panhandler

Post by philco »

I heard on the local news a couple of days ago that police had arrested a man near Corbin, Kentucky on various charges including being drunk in public. According to the report, he was setting alongside a major roadway holding a cardboard sign that said,

"PARENTS KILLED BY NINJAS

NEED MONEY FOR MARTIAL ARTS LESSONS"

I read this week that a city police department, I forget where, was placing officers on street corners, under bridges, etc, dressed in scruffy clothes, holding signs asking for money, help, food, etc, but were actually watching for drivers texting on their cell phones.

They were averaging 94 citations daily.

That's a whole new dimension to "working undercover".

I saw a guy standing on the side of the road, dressed in Tye Dye and wearing Bib overalls and sporting a large scruffy beard that held a sign saying "The Government Killed Jerry" "I like Weed" "Peace".

Not panhandling.....just stating his beliefs.....gotta love em...LOL
