Glad to see this. Would you happen to know the closed length?

Under the 2019 Tuna gallery, it has the length listed at 3 5/8 inches closed.

Thank you. I found it. For those interested in reading the text, you will probably need to enlarge the picture by clicking on it. http://danielsfamilyknifebrands.com/tuna2019/. It is pretty much the same information as before (date, quantity, steel, etc.) but does include the length of 3 5/8 on this image.

I took some pictures of the 2012 ones I have, they are really gorgeously made knives. ::tu:: ::tu::

Awesome RedRider, I love the stag on those. And that dimpled bolster redbone is one I'm still on the hunt for. They don't come up for sale very often.

Thanks! ::handshake::

I wasn't initially wild about the dimpled bolster look but it actually looks better to me after it has a little age (patina?) on it. ::tu::

It looks like the release date is now end of September 2019. Don't know why it moved from mid-July.

I went to the Kentucky knife show this past weekend, and got to see the 1 piece proto of this Phoenix Jack pattern. I really like the size and weight to the knife, with heavy thick slabs of stag. In talking with Ryan Daniels, he said that the blades are being ground now, and finishing touches put on, but it was taking longer than his original estimate, so he had to push the date out a bit.

The wait is the hardest part!

Howdy RR, I called them about a month ago and left a message with no return call. I then checked a couple of the distributor sites and found nothing. Let me know if you discover any in your search. ::shrug:: LCK

I spoke with Ryan a few weeks ago. They still are not finished, but he said they are still in the works, and will be released as soon as they are finished. No ETA though.

I saw on a trademark site that Ryan doesn't own the Tuna Valley name.

Interesting. The last time I talked with him he said he did.
That was the summer of 2019.

David Mullins since 2017.

As far as I know, Dave Mullins owned the name with Perry Miller when it was revived in 2007. When Perry died, Dave kept full ownership. He gave the licensing rights to the Daniels to make the knives, but Dave has always kept the actual ownership and trademark of the name.
