Tuna Valley Knives list

Post by Rookie »

Is there a list of all the Tuna Valley knives that have been made. Since they are fairly young, I think they only made 1 pattern in 2007, I was curious how many different knives were made each year. I haven't found a website that has them all together. Thanks.

H'mmm, 5 years and no reply. Maybe emailing this question to the Daniels would result in a list of Tuna Valley knives made so far.

Yeah, in the last 5 years I've spoken with them quite a few times at knife shows, and email, and I have a pretty good idea now of what has been made. Except for prototypes and 1-piece gift knives. Those remain a mystery. It's hard to say when or how many of those were made.

Would you mind making up a list of Tuna Valley knives and posting it here ? Even if incomplete it would be a great help to all who are interested in T.V. knives. If you emailed it to the Daniels they might be willing to fill in any you have missed.

Also, important to note. There are quite a few of Tuna Valley knives that carry the "EDC" blade etching on them. These are knives that were made, but did not pass inspection. The knives were good enough to sell as "users", but do not come with a COA, and are not counted towards the total numbers in my previous post.

Also, there seems to be many prototype runs of each pattern made, with 1 or more handle materials, that also do come with a COA stating that it is a prototype knife. Quantities on these prototype runs are usually 3-7 pieces.

WOW ! Fantastic list, even if not quite 100% complete i'm sure you have most of the knives, meaning if not all, then nearly all.
Thank you. I hope word gets out about this thread.

There are a ton of Tuna Valley photos in this post so you can see exactly what these beauties look like. (Includes a photo of one of the 1906 originals.): (viewtopic.php?f=84&t=46857)

Also, there is more information on this topic in this 2015 iKnife Collector post: http://iknifecollector.com/group/daniel ... ction-list

It looks like Rookie has resolved some of the open questions from the iKnife discussions.
