My last job before I retired was in a call center supporting Motorola IDEN phones (Nextel push to talk). Worst job I ever had.

Same, same. Picture is not .jpeg (.jpg). That's the only format AAPK accepts. As I said before, Motorola support said the pics are saved as a .jpg but sounds like that's not happening. Call 'em and keep calling them until you get someone who knows what they're talking about. DON'T CALL FROM THE PHONE YOU'RE TRYING TO FIX. ::doh:: ::dang:: ::dang:: ::dang::

Finally got it and it is the proper .jpg file format. I didn't change anything and as you can see, it loaded up just fine for me. I don't know what to tell you.

Hi guys, Iam trying to post pics with a HTC-DNA phone. After the upload bar go's away it says "The image file you tried to attach is invalid" has anyone else had this issue, could it be something Iam not doing or perhaps a setting on my phone. Would love to get some pics on. Thanks, Mike

I believe the image has to be a jpg. file? The picture can only be so large too. Don't know if any of those might be your issue. ::shrug::

Mike -- AAPK only accepts images in the .jpg format. That's usually the cause behind that message.

Edit: Two minds with the same thought and typing at the same time.

Chris -- I've never had any issues with image size other than Avatars.

So I take it that I can't post pics then. Is that correct?

Send one of your pictures to my email address LAAM_Marine@yahoo.com and let me take a look at it. I haven't seen anything yet to say exactly what format your pictures are in.

Edit: The picture is quite a bit larger than it needs to be for most any use you might put it to (3264 x 1840 which is 6 megapixels or 2.4 Mega Bytes of real memory) but it is in the .jpg format and as you can see, posts quite nicely. Just on general principles I would suggest you dial back the resolution for your phone's camera. It will not hurt the picture quality. I run mine at 1280 x 960 most of the time and occasionally, to gain storage space, at 640 x 480. (My max is 1600 x 1200)

The only thing I can say at this point is, the problem could be a compatibility issue between your phone's software and the forum's software. ::shrug:: Maybe someone will come along who has had this problem and have a solution for it or at least an explanation. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Ok this is starting to tick me off. I'm not real tech savvy, but what the hey!!!

My cellphone pictures keep flipping on their side when I post them here to AAPK. Does not matter how I orientate the pic when I take it (landscape or portrait). I upload the pics from phone to my laptop, and use those files to post here. Some will post correctly, others will turn counter-clockwise. And I don't know if it will untill I load and 'preview'....
How can I flip 'em back over?

Having trouble uploading a photo after new iOS update...anyone else....or just me??
It just says its uploading the pic...and it acts like its trying to...but never completes. Never had this problem with iPhone before.
