The fit and finish is about as good as it gets.
It has half-stops which I prefer.
I've been thinking about getting the stockman in that handle.
Looks great!

Jerry I like it fine, I had the trapper and stockman and you showed your moose and I thought I needed one also. it's all your fault.jerryd6818 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 3:25 am Tell me Joe. What do you think of the Viet Nam Moose?
I also rather fancy that RR1892 Tobacco Road Brown Bone Bow Trapper.
All those tobacco road knives are nice, the intricate work on them at the price point is unbelievable.

Say BH and Jerryd I like that Tobacco Road series also, here are the ones I have and I also got the Buck Shot with the Barlow on the way right now.bighomer wrote: ↑Wed Jun 17, 2020 7:15 pmJerry I like it fine, I had the trapper and stockman and you showed your moose and I thought I needed one also. it's all your fault.jerryd6818 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 3:25 am Tell me Joe. Re: Rough Riders!
I believe the "Wild Flowers Series" are the newest additions to smkw Rough Ryder knives. $9.99 each.
I should have these in a couple days. Perhaps I should have ordered two of each? After my wife inspects these, she may request a "Woman-cave"

Very cool display of your RRs, David. That mirror in the back initially confused me: I thought there were twice as m any knives a first glance!

Yeh, it looks good in person, but a little confusing in a photo.

Re: Rough Riders!
As Ted, the 'Colonel' was on his way to 'Kettle Hill' he dropped off the below package in my mailbox.
(Actually, the Rough Riders charge up 'Kettle Hill' was exactly 122 years ago today) July 01, 1898.
I seldom scan my knives on a flatbed scanner for aapk posts, however, for a little change of normalcy I think the results are quite acceptable.
Above are my most recent Rough Ryder's.
I have been observing the 'Tobacco Road and Buckshot Bone series' for some time now, and after having them in hand, they are much better than all the pictures I have observed, including the 'Easy Money Series'
All the above RRs came in excellent condition. I may complete the whole series.
The new 'Flower and Roses Series' are visually gorgeous. I might add that if you have a gift to be purchased for that special Lady in your near future, you may want to consider adding one of the 'Flower or Roses' knives to her gift. Just saying.
The workmanship is excellent on every one.
Top to bottom:
Tobacco Road Trapper. RR1892
Tobacco Road Three Blade Sowbelly. RR1894
Buckshot Bone Two Blade Sowbelly Trapper RR1906
Red Roses Peanut RR2090
Red Roses Trapper RR2097
Wild Flowers Series Small Toothpick RR2092
Alstroemeria Lady Leg Knife RR2096
Easy Money Canoe RR1890

Re: Rough Riders!
Great looking knives Dan, everyone of them. And i know from experience that any of them would also be a good work knife to use. So there is a "Red Roses" series and a "Wildflower" series ?

The first knife he talks about is the new Flower's series.
smkw.com also have: Pink Tulips, Sunflowers and Cherry Blossom knives in another series, however, they are all on backorder and will notify you when they have restock if you request.

I've been away from this thread for too long. Just got caught up. Wonderful looking collections Dan and Dave and all others. The variety RR produces is impressive to say the least.
