They had a fathers day thing going on if you spent I believe 70 bucks you got a free hat.
Great looking knives fellers.
Yeh, it looks good in person, but a little confusing in a photo.
Neat idea, though...that allows for seeing both sides. I like it!

I wouldn't be surprised. SMKW sells a lot of special models only made for them.kootenay joe wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 1:27 pm There are many RR dealers but does SMKW have exclusive rights to sell some series that other dealers have no access to ? I realize that owners of SMKW are also the owners of RR brand.

To your question, I believe, and I could be wrong, there is a large contingent here on AAPK that are not keen on Chinese made knives. They may not consider them "real" knives "If it's not made in the USA..."
I kind of thought it would be that. But if I'm not mistaken there are a couple of brands in that group that are not "made in USA." I thought it might be that RR's were not on the same quality level as CASE, GEC, Camillus etc. or all the above. Anyway it is what it is and at least we have a spot to share about Rough Riders. Thanks guys I'm grateful for all your inputs.jerryd6818 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 13, 2020 4:56 pm Well, we do. Sorta. And you're in it now. It's just not Rough Rider specific so I guess it would be kind of like posting Case knives in a Forum titled "U.S. Made Knives".
Ask the boss. Bryan makes the sub-forums.
I have been kind of surprised at how this particular thread has just kept going for five years. I think there may not have been so many Rough Rider fans back then. Maybe now there are enough to justify a sub-forum. But a sub-forum for a specific brand is not an unmixed blessing. I used to post occasionally in the Fight'n Rooster forum. Seems like those threads just died real quick. Maybe only a small percentage of folks were interested in that specific brand and most folks never looked?dlr110 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 13, 2020 7:56 pmSteve Warden wrote: ↑Mon Jul 13, 2020 4:50 pm Nice one David!!

My first thought was Jerry has a daughter or granddaughter that would just love a pink knife. Does that peace sign take you back to the 60's Jerry?jerryd6818 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 13, 2020 10:23 pm I hate to break up the gab-fest with a knife but this little beauty came in today's mail. Yeah, it's out in left field but something about it entranced me. I think it was the peace sign shield that pulled the trigger.
Sorta and I do have a daughter and granddaughter I could pass it on to.
