Hi mate, its one of my Carving knives, its a very old Mora style knife from K.J Ertickson ,the blade snapped with only 2mm left on the knife,I removed the tang and 're worked what was left of the old blade,it made it into my favourite carving knives ::tu::

I've now got 6 Chinese made Schrades,I don't carry larger modern locking knives very often but I picked up the SCH308S purely out of interest and I love the look of the Hinderer knives and nearly brought the Kershaw cryo as a Hinderer collaboration model, but that was out of my price range as well,so due to this getting limited carry as not UK legal I went with the Schrade 308 ,at £15 posted this was a bargain, rock solid lump of metal,I made a bullet stopper on the frame lock and put the remaining bullet case on the lanyard ::tu::

I've got a couple of the Workmate 440t's and I think they make great little whittlers.

Charles that sits beside me at local flea market-has a son that owns ohio knives-he told me that his son sells more new schrades than any other brand.

I'll have to get a pic of my early post-closure Schrade that is a Kentucky Rifle model of the 8OT/881. I bid too quickly on the auction site without paying much attention, not realizing it wasn't US made. I ended up winning.

The sheep's foot blade had an uneven factory grind, so I spent 30 min or so evening out the grind with a coarse diamond stone. After I finally got an even burr, I took it all the way to 7000 grit. I think this blade is now the sharpest blade of any knife in the house.

I keep the knife in the armrest console in my pickup. No complaints about this knife now.
