Had to scratch a knife buy itch but didn't wanna spend much at this time since I made a vow to myself to slow my roll on the knife budget this year. Got these two recently for around 8 bucks a piece. The mini trapper at 3-1/2" is what I think is called 'black' (or) 'black lip' pearl and the whittler which also is 3-1/2" appears to be imitation pearl with a pearl shield. Both are nicely fitted, tight knives with the smooth blade action and nice snap, which in my experience has been something I can count on from RR knives. Delivered scary sharp too.
a few pics...

I was going to ask where you got the knife with the really cool raindrop patterns... :D

This is my newest RR, and almost certainly the nicest RR I've bought yet. A three-bladed sowbelly with sawcut bone handles. I love it.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the Leg shaped knives. I really like the large one with the modified clip blade. It is essentially a tooth pick pattern with a shape that makes me smile. I also think it is the same blade as the fishing knife?

Pretty sure the foot of the knife could be used as a bottle opener so it is a practical knife, and a great slicer.

My oldest granddaughter has several of those lady leg pattern Rough Riders in her collection.

Any way to know if Rough Riders ever use celluloid for handles. Some of them look like it.

Thanks TwoFlowersLuggage. Don't know how I missed that. I hope it's more stable than the old stuff. Still leaves me wondering why. Buyer beware I guess.

I ordered a Ladies Leg last night. I've been looking at them for several years but never with enough interest to jump on one. I guess the mid-winter blahs and the $8.67 shipped price tag made me do it. It's 3-1/8" closed and I'm kind of fond of that 3" to 3-3/8" size. Marked as shipped first thing this morning, it's coming from Michigan so it should be here this week along with another knife I have on order from a different source.
