1033 Trapper

The KA-BAR brand originated as a trademark of the Tidioute Cutlery Company. Tidioute was later taken over & renamed the Union Cutlery Company which continued making the brand until Union eventually adopted it as the company name in 1952. Cutco Corporation later acquired the company in 1996.

Grabbed this one the other day, very well matched stag AND the etch is still on the blade and in great shape.

Beautiful trapper! I believe these knives with this Kabar script stamp won’t be found in natural jigged bone but still used some Mother of Pearl and awesome stag as seen
on this knife.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.
