Are there any post-WWII to Pre-Cole Catalogs Online?

The KA-BAR brand originated as a trademark of the Tidioute Cutlery Company. Tidioute was later taken over & renamed the Union Cutlery Company which continued making the brand until Union eventually adopted it as the company name in 1952. Cutco Corporation later acquired the company in 1996.

The KA-BAR chart that is often published is full of errors. Union Cut Co changed it's name to KA-BAR Inc in 1952 and changed the mark from KA-BAR over USA to Kabar lower case italics. Cole bought the company in 1966 and still used the lower case italic Kabar mark but added model numbers to the blade. It is unknown exactly when they began putting the numbers on the blades but it surely wasn't an instantaneous change. That would make your pen knife circa 1952-1966 with a year or two leeway to get all the stamping dies changed. I think the scales are real stag, they still used it often in that era.
