KABAR Emblem/Metal sign/Dealer display?

The KA-BAR brand originated as a trademark of the Tidioute Cutlery Company. Tidioute was later taken over & renamed the Union Cutlery Company which continued making the brand until Union eventually adopted it as the company name in 1952. Cutco Corporation later acquired the company in 1996.

KABAR Emblem/Metal sign/Dealer display?

Post by bkazz5 »

Picked this up the other day. Can anyone tell me how old it is. Looks like it may have been on a dealer display. Drilled hole at each end, metal, and just over 7" long.

Don't know anything about your sign. Looks cool though... ::nod::

I believe it is early 1950s since the Ka-bar is in lower case letters. Likely very early 1950s since it isn't Kabar in italics.
