That's a beauty Harold.
Here is one I have in pearl. Not as clean as your knife though.

Hope I am not too late, I bought this one at a flea market about 25 years ago. Never been sharpened.

A Union Cut Co. Olean N.Y. Dog Head K&f Pat Nov. 5 1907. Blade not as nice as the knife in OP.
I like the Dog Head, and very nice bone.

Re: Union Cut. Co. Olean NY
Nice knives posted earlier in the thread. Here is my one and only Ka-Bar / Union Cutlery knife. It made it's way into my collection because it is a Gunboat pattern. Obviously it has seen a lot of pocket time as evidenced by the wear on the shield. The blades don't show excessive wear or sharpening. I'm impressed with how smoothly this knife opens and closes with strong snaps.
Thanks for looking.

Re: Union Cut. Co. Olean NY
Here is a Union Cut Co. Olean NY stag Gunboat. This is a very nice old knife that I believe dates from 1912-1923 based on the tang stamp that resembles the outline of North America. I posted a Ka-Bar stamped Union Cut Co. Gunboat picture earlier in the thread if you are interested to see another example.
I don't collect Union / Ka-Bar as a brand, but I do collect Gunboats which is how I ended up with this knife. I would be grateful for any knowledge that could be shared about stamps, dates, etc., related to this knife. The quality of workmanship in the appearance and in the operation (smoothness and snap) of this knife is impressive to me. There is absolutely zero blade rub when opening and closing the blades.

It is very pocket heavy not to mention bulky due to the folding axe. I would not be surprised if they offered some kind of holster for it.

Dmitry, nice combo.
Harold, that's a pretty knife. The stamp is really clear.
