Since shipping a full size axe is not normally something I do, I saw off the head and sell the "head only" on ebay. I'll cut these to fit into a Priority Mail Box or smaller if you like.
Anybody looking for some hickory to haft or make handles for?

Ahhhhh,,,,,,,I see. Easier to ship just the HEAD. I buy to resell and there's some good money in some of those heads...
And sometimes the head is loose so it's best.
