Cripple Creek Wounded Knee

Bob Cargill is the man behind the Cripple Creek Knife Brand. He started out making one of a kind custom knives and eventually started making special order runs by hand under the Cripple Creek name in 1981. He specialized in high quality hand made limited runs for clubs and organizations. The brand was later sold to Blackjack Knives of Effingham, IL who commissioned Queen Cutlery to produce them in larger quantities.

Cripple Creek Wounded Knee

I have been willed a set of 4 knives that I would like to find out some info on. Wood round case w/ 4 knives marked wounded knee. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

THE KNIVES THAT YOU HAVE ACQUIRED ARE QUITE A FIND, WITHOUT A PIC I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THEY ARE ONE SET OF SERIALIZED BARLOWS 300 SETS WERE PRODUCED IN 1982. HAND MADE BY BOB CARGILL IN LOCKPORT IL. AT THE BEGINING OF THE RISE OF THE CRIPPLE CREEK ERA OF EXTREMELY WELL MADE POCKET KNIVES, VERY COLLECTIBLE, GREAT ONES TO HAVE IN YOUR COLLECTION ,
