GEC BULLDOG

Post by Quick Steel »

Produced in 2009 by GEC for Bulldog. OAL is 3 3/4 ". The 3 blades of this Trapper/Hunter all have solid half-stops and lots of snap. They came with a high degree of sharpness. The covers are of molasses bone and have crowfoot jigging which I like. I do not like the large printing on the master blade. The dog's head is okay but overall the blade is, in my view, far below the standard of the German traditional Bulldog etchings. The overall quality of the knife is excellent. Because of its weight a sheath will be best for carry.

Tried to get a good closeup of the jigging; didn't quite succeed.

A good looker QS. I think I enjoy the German etch better as well. That being said, that is a beautiful knife. ::nod:: ::nod:: ::tu::
