This 4" stag Stockman would have been made between 1991-1993. F&F are both excellent. Fine walk and talk. No half-stops. Excellent runups.
Thinking there is a possibility the stag is Sambar. In any event I find it very pleasing. Had difficulties trying to get good photos; apologies.

Those Quarterhorsemen stockman Knives were some of the most desirable knives bulldog made. I don’t believe I would call that stag sambar as most of the 2nd generation knives were European stag as this one appears to be. Nice knife and thanks for posting it.

Tom, I know you are right. Just felt there was a remote possibility, I was thinking the pile side stag reminded me of Sambar. Won't make that mistake again. Thanks.
