I have got to start collecting Bulldogs. Those green ones that you have been showing are incredible. Waiting would be hard for that one.

Mark, I recommend you try to find one of the 5 blade Anniversary knives. These were made by the Master Cutler of the Olbertz factory. I see them for sale at $700 which would be reasonable except for the fact that others are being sold at under $300. But of course you may prefer another pattern, or a using model. Good luck if you decide to pull the trigger on a Bull Dog.

Thank you dog. Frankly, I've always contended I am simply an accumulator rather than a collector; completely eclectic in choices; whatever appeals to me. Now having fallen under the spell of the BD I might, just might, be approaching the edges of "collectorship."

DId you mean 70 and 30 dollars and not 700 and 300? Not sure I want to start w/ a 700 dollar knife. When I get ready to pull the trigger I will check the stores here on AAPK first. From now on that will be my first choice of places to shop.

Jerry. that is so very, very, true. I got hooked on BDs without even realizing it until I suddenly discovered I had more than 30 of them! A slow learner I am.

Re: CAN'T WAIT!
No, no, Mark. Definitely do not go for the 700 dollar offer. Waay overpriced. But if you went for the same knife under 300 [5 blade anniversary] it would imho be very much worth it.
But you will find most BDs much lower priced. And I always start my day with AAPK stores.

Re: CAN'T WAIT!
My huge collection of 2 both came form AAPK stores. Great place to empty your pockets. But you get great stuff in return.
