Some of the Parker Pocket Knife Trader's Guides have bulldogs listed, Volume's 3 5 7 & 8. Also Parker's Pocket Knife Collector's Encyclopedia is a good reference for the newer Bulldogs. I don't believe there have been any new guides since then. Most of these are available on line. Let me know if you have trouble finding these.
Thanks,
Tom

Thanks for your reply. I'll check on these.
I am trying to get the one with the latest or most current values,
with, hopefully, additional information on the various models.
example: Were all peacocks from the 1st edition years, etc..
I am a new Bulldog collector (3 so far) but I want the best ones to
collect along with the ones I like and can get (afford).

Peacocks were made in several generations but only the 1st generation with the purple swirl handles. There were some made in the 2nd generation with end of day handles and the 1983 blades. The etch is different.
Peacocks were made in the 3rd generation with imitation abalone handles and some had a red peacock as well. Several patterns were oroduced.
There were some Pearl sowbelly peanuts made in the 4th generation.
By far the most collectible are the purple swirl 1st generation peacocks. There were made both with the diamond shield and Crest shield. The Crest shield is more rare but both are highly collectible.
