After a long dry spell, I bought another Bulldog, a 1997 standing dog MOP baby sunfish. Now I have three baby sunfish, including two stag, and all are 1997s. One of the stag has a clip blade.

fishin, for me it was love at first sight. Instantly became my favorite Barlow. The strong half-stops, the snappy walk and talk and above all the distinctive bolster: everything added up to uncommon excellence.

I like the looks of both knives LA. I am thinking the one on the left is carrying mastadon ivory. Perhaps also the one on the right. What is the truth of the matter for both knives please.

Ooooo...that is some beautiful mammoth bark. Very nice. ::tu:: 8) ::tu::
We are all just prisoners here of our own device.
In the master's chamber they gather for the feast.
They stab it with their steely knives but they just can't kill the beast.

So much beauty in one spot,LA. When shown together like that I think it's undeniable that Bulldog maintained a consistent level of quality way beyond most manufactured knives.
